Hei, Jeg har to stk.

https://www.elkjop.no/product/tv-og-bilde/universal-og-tv-fjernkontroll/288634/one-for-all-urc-4910-samsung-tv-erstatningsfjernkontroll

Hi, I have two “smart remote” controls R-NZ A6811700 for Samsung TVs. They send radio pulses continuously (Bluetooth?). This is not necessary for a remote control (as Philips shows with its remote controls), and it is harmful to health. (I have worked in telecom for 40 years and I have researched this field for the last 10-12 years.) Can you indicate which remote controls can be used instead, which either do not use radio signals, or at least do not transmit continuously, but only when needed? The serial number on my one TV is UE43NU7475U. Thank you in advance, Einar Flydal

‎8:17 PM

I understand that . I know how important it is for you to have a working device, and I am here to help you. Thank you so much for raising this immediately to us. I’m happy to assist you today and help you find a resolution to your device. May I know if this is your first time contacting us regarding this query? Also, May I know if you have a Samsung Account?

‎8:19 PM

Yes, I have a Samsung account. I rised the topic today to the Norwegian/Swedish Samsung support, which sent me to ZandParts Support, which adviced me to contact Samsung Support… So, no help to get at the national level.

‎8:21 PM

Thank you for telling me, Einar. What I can do for you today is to provide you the correct product number for the remote control of your TV. Would that be fine?

‎8:27 PM

No, thank you. I do not need that. I just gave you the product no. printed on the remote, and ZandParts told me that the product number is Part Number: BN59-01300G. What I need is a remote that works without constantly sending out radiosignals.

‎8:29 PM

I understand, Einar. What I can do for you fr you today is to provide you the standard remote control for your TV. Would that be fine?

‎8:34 PM

If that control is not using Bluetooth, it would be fine. But I already have the standard remote that followed the TV when I bought it: it is this “Smart Remote” that constantly emits the radiosignals I do not want. So what I need, is your help to find one that does not emit such signals, or a way to turn them off, but still works with my TV.

‎8:36 PM

And you do not have to do it today. I understand it might take time to find out. You could email me the result when you find the answer.

‎8:38 PM

No worries, Einar. I have the product number for your standard remote control which doesn’t need a Bluetooth to connect to the TV and this one works perfectly for your TV.

‎8:40 PM

Splendid. Then I would like to get it!

‎8:40 PM

Sure, Einar. The standard remote control that is compatible with your TV is BN59-01268D. This doesn’t require Bluetooth connection on your TV.

‎8:42 PM

Splendid! How does it communicate? Infrared? Radio?

‎8:44 PM

Once you have point it out to the TV, the TV would detect the standard remote control. In that way, you can definitely use it without any radiations.

‎8:46 PM

Seems fine. So it uses infrared light?

‎8:47 PM

Yes, Einar. All standard remote controls uses infrared light to directly connect to the TV.

‎8:48 PM

I haven’t heard from you for a couple of minutes, I just want to check if you’re still there?

‎8:51 PM

Great. Then I thank you so much for your patience. And I deplore everyone who gets tired, “brainfog”, tinnitus, or any of all the other problems associated with low frequency pulses in radiosignals from such sources as “smart remotes”, without understanding why. I am among the lucky ones who do not, but neither do I want to be among them. Thank your for your kind help! Einar

You’re very much welcome, Einar. Aside from this concern, may I know if there would be anything else I can assist you with?

‎8:52 PM

No, thank you! All the best to you!

I have been advised by you (Pam) to buy a BN59-01268D remote. However, on the net, I find very different remotes all labeled with that product number. Is that ID uniqe? Would you be kind to send me a picture of what it looks like?

‎9:35 PM

Hi, Einar! I hope you’re all well. Thank you for reaching out to us today. Please allow me to assist you and yes I can definitely check that for you!

‎9:36 PM

I also need a confirmation from you that that remote works with infrared, not radio.

Thank you so much in advance for your kind help!

Here’s the photo. You may check that out at: Partmaster: https://www.partmaster.co.uk/tv-projector/bn59-01268d-tv-remote-control/product.pl?pid=5242159&path=99178&refine=remote+control E-spares: https://www.espares.co.uk/product/es1775556/samsung-bn59-01268d-tv-remote-control https://www.remotes4u.co.uk/samsung-bn59-01268d-remote-control-original.html Yes, it is infrared remote control, Einar.

Thank you so much for contacting us, Einar. For now, would there be anything else aside from this perhaps that I could further assist you with?

‎9:38 PM

Amazing! Just a second, and I shall send you the picture of a BN59-01268D as announced in Norways largest shop:

‎9:40 PM

Could you confirm this not to be a BN59-01268D ?

‎9:41 PM

I see, Einar. The BN59-01268D is the standard remote control and the photo you sent to me is a smart remote control that is powered byt Bluetooth to connect to the TV.

‎9:42 PM

I understand. So they show the wrong picture. https://www.elkjop.no/product/tv-og-bilde/universal-og-tv-fjernkontroll/59392/samsung-bn59-01298d-fjernkontroll-smart-tv

Thank you! This was very important information.

‎9:43 PM

Sure! It might be because Norway is a different country than UK and usually model code and part number differ from each country.
